About

Our award winning English Riviera Visitor Information Centre is working hard to become more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Some of the measures we have put in place include:

Recyling of leaflets and posters including the opportunity for visitors and local businesses to return un-needed items.

We use non confidential scrap paper for office notes and re-cycle envelopes when possible.

Advising customers to take a photo on their mobile phone of timetables, posters and fact sheets.

QR codes are placed near most visitor attraction leaflets.

We have a 'think before we print' ethos.

We actively encourage email instead of postage and print.

Offering a free water bottle refil to reduce plastic waste.

Our staff and volunteers regularly car share with another local business, public transport or walk to work and appointments.

We use sea water instead of harmful weedkiller outside our office.

We separate our rubbish for recyling.

We have replaced our lighting to more environmentally friendly LED units.
