If you’re eating out in Babbacombe, be sure not to miss some of the finest fish and chips in the whole country and a great atmosphere at award-winning Hanbury’s. You’ll also find fine fish and traditional Devonian delicacies at Babbacombe’s Cary Arms, 2009 winner of the prestigious Taste of the West Awards.
Eating out in Torquay is a treat, with a diverse selection of restaurants, bistros and cafés. If you like your food Michelin-starred, head over to The Elephant overlooking the harbour for fine dining at its best and most sustainable.
For al fresco dining, eating out in Paignton is something else. For massive family pizzas check out The Boathouse, or enjoy fresh mussels and fantastic views at the Shoreline. As well as traditional home-grown restaurants, Paignton has some great Italian, Indian and Thai eateries.

Finally, if you’re looking for some fresh fish dishes that are world class but locally caught, eating out in Brixham is an experience you won’t forget. Recently featured in the Sky Atlantic series Fish Town, Brixham is one of Britain’s oldest fishing ports, so the locals know a thing or two about catching and cooking a tasty fish.
