Places To Visit

With so much to see and do on the English Riviera, South Devon’s beautiful bay, you really can tailor your holiday to suit your tastes – right down to the way you choose to explore it.

Holidays in Devon

The Riviera was made for families and couples. There are popular and child-friendly beaches to bask on, or secluded coves that can help you leave the madding crowds far behind. Whether you want an outdoor holiday filled with walks and cycle trails or something a little more laid back, there’s something to suit all tastes and budgets. Adventure or relaxation – you decide.

Choose your Break

Explore Torquay and you’ll see how the Riviera has reinvented the traditional seaside resort as a cosmopolitan tourist destination. The centre for many maritime events and regattas and with bustling bistros and cafés, Torquay offers everything you could want from a 21st century break.

Babbacombe and Paignton offer fantastic attractions for families with children. The Babbacombe Model Village has been a major draw for tourists for years and the town is within walking distance of two Blue Flag beaches. Paignton has its famous zoo, but also offers the chance to explore the region in style. You can choose to make a day of it on the Dartmouth Steam Railway or cruise at a relaxed pace across the bay or along the River Dart . Brixham is ideally suited to couples who want a taste of the olde worlde romance offered by a small, traditional fishing village.
