Organised by the Devon Rocks and Stones Facebook group, the original idea was for children to decorate a stone and hide it for another child to find.
During the Covid-19 lockdown, this concept morphed into a fabulous ‘snake’ decoration along the top of a wall in the gardens of the iconic Oldway Mansion gardens.
During lockdown, kids have had the time to paint a load more stones. By late June there were almost 2,000 in the gardens but it would be amazing to aim for the world record of 8,000.
