The History of Apple Day

Apple Day started in 1993 by Brian Carter, a founder member of the Cockington Coast and Countryside Trust. Brian was a popular writer and poet, and also a contributor to the local paper for 30 years.

The event grew to be one of the biggest days on the Cockington calendar.
