Set within a spectacular ancient valley, Dartmoor’s famous Becky Falls has been attracting visitors since 1903, and no trip to Devon would be complete without a visit.
Enjoy breath-taking woodland walks, taking time to explore over 50 acres of woodland and streams which are rich in wildlife. There is a choice of trails to suit all ages and abilities. Choose the Blue Trail for a more gentle walk along the Becka Brook and through the ancient oak woodland. The Red Trail is where you will discover our stunning waterfall and its dramatic 70ft drop at the heart of the park. Why not have a go at our notoriously fun boulder scramble and if you enjoy that, carry on to the Purple Trail for views of the beautiful lower falls on more rugged terrain.
We have a wonderful array of activities; including our twice daily Animal Encounter shows where you can get up close to some of our friendly residents. Who will you meet? They could be furry, scaly, feathery, or even have 8 legs! No session is the same. Not forgetting the Meet the Keeper Sessions throughout the day with our Meerkats and other wonderful animals. Meet the Keeper sessions are a great opportunity to learn more about the animals from the people who care for them and watch them being fed or enjoying their favourite activities. We also have a children’s stamp trail, where every child wins a prize, and there are Explorer Backpacks available to borrow to help young explorers really discover the woodland.
After all this, relax and treat yourself in our licensed woodland café and gift shop. There really is something for all ages (including your dog, who will be made very welcome!).
Remember, once you’ve paid your entrance fee, all the shows and activities are included - so there’s nothing else to pay!
Becky Falls is just 10 minutes from the A38 expressway. See more at: www.beckyfalls.com
