The full air display lineup for the English Riviera Airshow 2023 has been revealed, with classic aircraft joining the Red Arrows in a packed programme. The airshow takes place on 3rd-4th June 2023, with Paignton Green as the base for the two-day spectacular. The air display team will be based on the Green and visitors will be able to meet the pilots and peruse local traders offering everything from artwork to toys. There will be a real family-friendly atmosphere with an array of family activities, a fairground, food stalls and bars to keep the adults entertained!

The naturally inspiring sky of the English Riviera is ready to host the Bays flagship event. The two-day aerial-extravaganza also boasts an array of on-the-ground entertainment to keep airshow fans and families entertained for hours. The official designated car park for the free-to-attend event is the Victoria Car Park on Garfield Road, Paignton, and is just a short walk from the main event site on Paignton Green. Since the first English Riviera Airshow in 2016, the event is one of the first airshows of the UK season. The stand-out coastal event continues to wow locals and tourists as they flock to Paignton seafront for the two-day extravaganza.
Paignton Beach offers the ultimate family day out at the seaside. With a sandy beach, safe swimming and a whole host of activities to enjoy, this promises to be a fun day out for all the family.
A short walk from Paignton is Preston Sands, a great family beach. On this safe, clean beach you can sunbathe, swim or make castles in the sand, or why not grab a fishing net and explore the rock pools at low tide?
Paignton Harbour nestles on the western shores of Tor Bay, situated midway between Torquay and Brixham harbours. Its understated beauty and authentic ‘fishing haven’ feel are often overlooked by visitors to the area.
Thatcher Point is a phenomenal green space with a stunning view of the Thatcher Rock and out to sea. People visit Thatcher Point to take in the sea views and view Thatcher Rock itself, to go fishing off the coast, or to simply walk along the South West Coast Path nearby. There are also an array of flora and birdlife at the site.
This delectable beach is part of the English Riviera and it lives up to its name with its stunning sands, views and sunshine. This is the main beach for Torquay, being popular with holidaymakers from the surrounding hotels, day visitors and locals.
The pier, built in 1890, is the perfect place to stop and gaze out to sea, or to enjoy watching the constant comings and goings in the adjacent marina.
The Battery Gardens has one of the most panoramic views in the Bay and is a great location to watch the annual English Riviera Airshow. The gardens are a natural landscape of trees and grass, and in spring it becomes a sea of bluebells and snowdrops. In Autumn, the ground turns orange with a covering of crisp autumn leaves. With footpaths throughout the park, it is a great place to walk in all seasons. The Battery Gardens are so named as this area was once a World War II Battery point and the now protected land is of significant historical and archaeological value. Along your walk you will see many shelters used by the Brixham Home Guard during WWII. The Battery Gardens is also host to the Brixham Battery Museum
Berry Head National Nature Reserve guards the southern half of Tor Bay. One of the main gateways to the English Riviera Global Geopark, it is an internationally-acclaimed heritage site, home to a fascinating variety of wildlife and history, with recently-restored Napoleonic War fortifications. Enjoy the stunning views and superb local food at the Guardhouse Cafe, visit the Visitor Centre, enjoy one of the many events, and walk the ramparts as the soldiers did 200 years ago.
