Woodlands 4 star guest house is situated in the picturesque fishing town of Brixham, a part of the English Riviera, close to the centre of town, with stunning views over the harbour. Woodlands is an ideal base for a quiet weekend break, or a family holiday. It provides easy access for those wishing to explore the stunning Devon cliffs, nature reserves and beaches.
Woodlands offers award winning accommodation and a breakfast made with quality, local ingredients to suit everyone. We have two rooms overlooking the harbour, a family room and a self-contained chalet with a patio area. All rooms are en-suite and Wi-Fi internet is available. There is a free car park at the rear of the property. You are also welcome to use our garden and just relax, enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Brixham has quaint streets of fishermen's cottages and splendid Coastal Walks with excellent fishing, and taking the Ferry across the bay to nearby Torquay is a must. You can also visit Berry Head Country Park and Napoleonic Forts, take a dip in Breakwater Open Air Sea Swimming Pool, choose to take a trip up the River Dart to the Medieval Town of Totnes or ride on the Paignton to Dartmouth steam train. This makes Brixham an ideal base to explore the beautiful Devon Countryside and all the many attractions on offer to suit all ages.
Why not enjoy an evening out and visit one of our local restaurants or bars, there is plenty of choice around the area.
We live very close to the number 12 bus route, why not leave the car behind and enjoy a day out to the nearby attractions in Goodrington, Paignton & Torquay. There is plenty to see and do for all ages, here is a list of some of them, Quaywest Splashdown, boating lakes, quad bikes, crazy golf, Paignton Zoo, Paignton Pier, Pirates Bay crazy golf, Torre Abbey museum & garden, Torquay museum, Jungle Journey crazy golf, the pitch & putt or just enjoy the lovely beaches along the way.
Brixham is within easy driving distance of Dartmoor and many other Devon attractions.
