About
Torbay's first vegan guesthouse, The Miggi offers a peaceful, friendly setting with unique, individually-designed book-themed rooms.
Just 100 yards from Preston Sands on a quiet road, The Miggi offers the perfect base for exploring Torbay and beyond. There's parking on-site for cars and cycles, and easy access to public transport and the South-West Coast path.
The Miggi is keen to welcome everyone. Great care has been taken to design and build a new accessible suite on the ground floor of the property for guests with mobility issues - a spacious bedroom with comfortable sitting area and wheelchair-accessible wet room. The guesthouse also pays particular attention to welcoming LGBTIQ+ folk.
Dogs are very welcome at The Miggi - dog-friendly facilities include dog bowls and trays, dog treats, and a stock of dog towels in the porch for drying paws after your walks.
The Miggi also has a housemate business, All Good Things Vegan, which provides meals and treats for guests. You'll be welcomed with complementary hand-made chocolate truffles. Other items are available to order, including vegan cream teas, picnic lunches, celebration cakes, and evening meals. There are regular pop-up restaurant events in The Miggi's Agatha Christie dining room.
ENGLISH RIVIERA WALKING FESTIVAL
We welcome walkers taking part in the English Riviera Walking Festival and can offer:
* Packed lunches (with advance booking)
* Early breakfasts if required
* Boot trays provided to assist with cleaning and drying
* Dog-friendly - dog towels are provided too!
* With advance booking, we can provide freshly made picnic boxes or salad boxes and takeaway afternoon tea boxes also available.
