About
The Metropole hotel with 95 bedrooms in the heart of Torquay and one wing is also a grade two listed building. We are well-situated on the level close to the beach, theatre and just 100m from the English Riviera Centre. We are an independent, family-run hotel offering a warm and friendly welcome. Great facilities including children’s play areas, restaurant, bar and function room, sauna, live entertainment, outdoor balcony, gardens and children’s play fort. We cater for everyone from families through business people to coach parties and after 30 years in the business you can be assured of a great stay whether for business or pleasure.
Groups and private parties are welcome and we pride ourselves on offering a personal service to every group that comes to stay with us. Over the years we have looked after every type of group from bowls and cricket clubs to regimental reunions and family birthday parties. The newest Leisureplex Hotel features a bar, games room, extensive lobby lounge, elevated panoramic terrace and 2 large entertainment rooms.
The bright, airy dining room serves the full Leisureplex menu plus our Chef's nightly specials.
A variety of evening entertainment is provided in the spacious entertainment lounge.
All 95 guest bedrooms are en-suite and feature Freeview TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

Dinner: We provide a waiter served table d'hote dinner from 18:30 to 20:00* with last orders at 19:15. *Please note that dinner times may vary depending on the season.
Special Diets: A selection of vegetarian options is available on the dinner menu. For a more efficient service we recommend these are requested in advance of the meal. Special diets can also be catered for on request; we ask that you contact us at least seven days prior to arrival and provide a diet sheet.
