If you’re planning a trip to the English Riviera why not stay at this popular self-catering accommodation located in Wellswood, Torquay. 6 Lisburne Place is very close to Torquay harbour (0.8 miles), Torquay seafront (1.3 miles) and Torquay town centre (1.9 miles). There are plenty of independent shops, bars and places to eat nearby at Ilsham Road, Wellswood Village, (0.5 miles) as well as Torwood Street (0.5 miles), a popular Torquay spot to pick up a takeaway curry or kebab.
6 Lisburne Place is a modern 3 bedroomed town house in a quiet, yet easily accessible location. There’s a garage with space for one car, plenty of street parking and a bus stop within a minute’s walk, with daily bus services running frequently between Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.
There are two small steps at the front of the property and additional access through the back of the property, where there is a secure electronic gate. The accommodation has French doors which open on to a pleasant balcony where you and your friends can sit and enjoy the spectacular views over a drink or two and watch the sun go down. The living and dining areas are fully furnished so you’ll feel right at home and there are plenty of books, board games, a CD player, SKY+ HD TV and wireless broadband to keep up to date with the latest news at home and to plan days out in South Devon.
Each of the bedrooms, set over 3 floors have remote control assisted fans to provide extra comfort during the warmer months. This self-catering accommodation sleeps up to 6 people. The master bedroom has en-suite facilities, a luxurious king-sized bed and a 20’’ flat screen LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player. The second bedroom has its own balcony and seating, which looks towards Babbacombe Road. The third guest bedroom has 2 single beds and an X-Box 360 with hand controllers providing plenty of indoor entertainment for children and young adults.
Babbacombe Cliff Railway, Babbacombe Model Village, Babbacombe Theatre and Bygones Museum in the quaint suburb of St Marychurch are all only 2 miles away. Kent’s Cavern, a gateway site to the English Riviera’s UNESCO Global Geopark is one of Europe’s top Stone Age Caves and home to Britain’s earliest humans and Ice Age beasts. Open all year round this top visitor attraction has fascinating passageways and stunning chambers and appeals to all ages. At only 0.7 miles away, it’s definitely worth a visit!
The English Riviera has 22 miles of stunning coastline and 10 award winning beaches, all within easy reach of 6 Lisburne Place. Take a trip to Anstey’s Cove (1.2 miles), a quiet and incredibly beautiful small single beach to escape the crowds and to try some coasteering with exhilarating jumping points and secluded secret caves to explore or Meadfoot Beach (0.8 miles) for paddle boarding and relaxing.
