Bed and Breakfast Babbacombe

On the edge of Torquay on the English Riviera, Babbacombe is one of the area’s most popular destinations. Quieter by comparison to its busier neighbour, the village nonetheless has no shortage of attractions.

At the foot of Babbacombe’s tree-lined red cliffs, two beaches meet the sea. Oddicombe beach has been awarded a Blue Flag for its safety and cleanliness, and has numerous facilities for holidaymakers such as water sports equipment hire and a café. Further along, Babbacombe beach is a popular stretch for novice scuba divers and those who want an easy hassle-free dive. Both beaches can be reached using the Babbacombe Cliff Railway - one of the few funicular railways left in the UK.

Babbacombe has plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops to call its own, whilst benefiting from having the attractions and nightlife of Torquay on its doorstep. It is also conveniently located for hopping in the car to visit some of south Devon’s other popular destinations such as Dartmoor National Park and Paignton Zoo.
