The Melville is a large Victorian house built for a trawler owner in the 1890's. as you would expect its full of charm and character. Especially our licensed bar. All rooms are different, pleasantly decorated and furnished, with hot and cold vanity units, tea/coffee making facilities and TV's. most rooms are en suite. We serve a full English breakfast. Special diets are catered for. Packed lunches are also available. The hotel is centrally situated on the level close to the town centre, harbour and coves. Renowned for cleanliness, excellent food, quality and value. We offer child reductions, courtesy car from local stations. The hotel has a full fire certificate and parking is available. A member of the South West Tourism. All bedrooms are non-smoking.
Brixham is a small picturesque fishing village situated on the English Riviera. Offering various water activities. A haven for local artists. Stroll its narrow lanes and enjoy coastal walks especially Berry Head country Park. Brixham is an excellent base to explore Devon, with ferries to Torquay, Paignton and Dartmouth. Close to Dartmoor, the South Hams, Exeter and Plymouth. All hosting a wealth of attractions.
