Hotel Patricia is a charming Victorian town house located in the Belgravia area of Torquay. It is centrally placed and within a short walk of Torre Railway Station (0.7 miles) and Torquay Railway Station (0.8 miles).  It is also close to Torre Abbey Sands (0.4 miles), a popular family-friendly award-winning beach and all local amenities.

Many of the original features of this lovely town house building have been retained and we have tastefully decorated throughout creating a modern, light and airy interior. There are 9 guest bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities, Freeview TVs, hairdryer, Free Wi-Fi, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee-making machines. Guests can opt for room only or bed and breakfast.

We serve breakfast in our comfortable dining room and offer full English cooked dishes using locally sourced produce and continental breakfast with a selection of cereals, yoghurts, toast, jams and preserves. We cater for vegetarian and vegan diets so please let us know at the time of booking if you have any special dietary requests.

We provide clean, comfortable accommodation and a warm welcome to our first time and returning guests. We welcome solo travellers, couples and families with children and our Superior and family rooms have larger 32" flat screen Freeview TV's with built-in DVD players.  For special occasions we can organise chocolates, flowers, champagne or wine to accompany a stay in our Superior room with its grand four poster bed.

Located in the heart of the English Riviera we are within easy walking distance of Torquay town centre for high street shopping and cinema, Princess Theatre (1 mile) for evening entertainment, and a number of visitor attractions and harbourside dining.  Riviera International Conference Centre (RICC), set back from the seafront offers multi-functional conference, exhibition and banqueting halls as well as family-friendly leisure facilities.  If you are attending an event at RICC we are ideally situated, just a 2-minute walk if you are looking for overnight accommodation.

The nearby district of Babbacombe (1.8 miles) in Torquay has stunning, far-reaching views from Green Flag award-winning Babbacombe Downs, and the charming Babbacombe Cliff Railway, popular Babbacombe Theatre for variety shows and award-winning Babbacombe Model Village are definitely worth a visit.

For keen walkers and ramblers, the South West Coast Path runs along the English Riviera’s 22 miles of stunning coastline running from Babbacombe in Torquay through Paignton to Brixham. As one of the UK’s top seaside destinations there are lots of water-based activities to enjoy including sailing, coasteering, kayaking, water-skiing, paddle-boarding, fishing and sightseeing boat trips and ferry rides across the Bay. Another popular day trip with guests is a ride on the Dartmouth Steam Railway, starting in Paignton and journeying along the coast towards Kingswear on the River Dart taking in the English Riviera landscape which forms part of the UNESCO Global Geopark. Visit Berry Head National Nature Reserve (9.2 miles) in the neighbouring town of Brixham, a key gateway site to the Geopark perched high up on 200 feet cliffs with an iconic lighthouse, historic Napoleon fort, coastal footpaths and the award-winning The Guardhouse Café.  There are spectacular panoramic views across the entire bay. The area is a hotspot for sightings of sparrow hawks and large breeding colonies of guillemots, bats, dolphins and humpback whales.

Spend a day out at the picture-postcard village of Cockington (1.7 miles) with its thatched cottages, rose gardens, manor house and country park. This is a great place to sample a delicious Devon Cream Tea.
