Your hosts Tony and Tasanee, welcome you to The Trouville. We are a family run, centrally located, bed and breakfast accommodation in Torquay with easy access to the beach, town centre, South West Coast Path and anywhere in South Devon.

The Trouville is situated in a prominent position in Belgrave Road, a popular hotel district which is well positioned to access bowling greens, tennis courts, Jungle Journey adventure golf and the picturesque gardens at Abbey Park and Torre Abbey Meadows. It is conveniently located near to Riviera International Conference Centre (RICC) with its indoor leisure facilities including a large swimming pool, wave machine and thrilling flume. Great fun for all ages.  

Torquay Seafront promenade and Torre Abbey Sands, an award-winning beach is a 2-minute flat walk (0.5 miles) and the lively Abbey Crescent modern dining complex (0.5 miles) offers national brand bistros and restaurants as well as independent cafes and bars for cocktails and sundowners. Torquay Harbourside (1.1 miles) has a wealth of places to eat and drink, nightclubs and award-winning visitor attractions.  

We have a range of Double, Triple and Quad guest rooms with en-suite facilities available and can accommodate couples, groups and families with children aged 5 years and above. Whether you are looking for that mini-break, an extended-family holiday or a special occasion with a group of friends we offer the perfect setting. We can also accommodate Stag and Hen parties by special arrangement only, with prior notice. There is free Wi-Fi high speed internet access available for guests as well as a desk working station and printing facilities for leisure and business needs whilst you’re away.

Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation includes continental and cooked breakfast options, with delicious full English breakfasts available. We can cater for vegetarians, special dietary requirements with prior notice and children’s needs including high chairs in the dining room for young children. We have a wide selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast and orange juice to start your day off well.

Torquay, voted the top seaside destination by Traveller’s Choice, TripAdvisor Awards has plenty to offer from award-winning dining to West End theatre shows, leisurely high street and designer boutique shopping to top visitor attractions.

The iconic palm trees line Torquay’s continental-style waterfront promenade and Green Flag awarded, Princess Gardens and Royal Terrace Gardens, known locally as Rock Walk (0.8 miles) provide the perfect setting for an evening stroll to take in the picturesque views across Tor Bay.

The English Riviera is home to some of the best visitor attractions in the South West including The Real Crime Museum and The Escape Room which are all located on Torquay Harbourside (1.1 miles). Torquay Museum, home to the country’s only dedicated Agatha Christie gallery; Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves, a gateway site to the English Rivera’s UNESCO Global Geopark (2 miles); Babbacombe Cliff Railway (1.9 miles), Babbacombe Model Village (1.8 miles) and Bygones Museum (1.7 miles) are all easily accessible by car or by taking a short bus ride using the frequent No 12 and 22 services which run between Torquay and the neighbouring towns of Paignton (2.9 miles) and Brixham (8.1 miles).  For guests arriving by car, there is some free street parking nearby.

If you interested in local history, art and culture, amble along to Torre Abbey Museum (0.3 miles), an Ancient Scheduled Monument and medieval monastery which houses an impressive collection of fine art, interactive galleries and exhibitions and a Potent Plants garden, based on the poisons mentioned in Agatha Christie’s novels. 

Water sport activities, fishing trips, boat and ferry rides are plentiful as well as coastal walks, hidden coves and country parks and woodland gardens to explore.
