Torbay Sea School incorporates Torbay Sailing School and is situated in the beautiful English Riviera in South Devon. We have Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Dartmouth right on our doorstep. We offer sailing and motor cruising courses which cruise the stunning South Hams coastline. Our sailing and motor mileage builder courses take us much further afield to places such as the Channel Islands, France and the Isles of Scilly.
We are a professional sailing, motor boat and powerboat school providing friendly, high quality instruction in all our courses. We are well known for our well equipped boats, our human instructors and the excellent quality of the food and drink we provide on our practical motor and sailing courses. Motor and Sailing practical courses include accommodation on board our vessels.
Our sailing courses use yachts offering spacious and comfortable accommodation and are chosen for their easy handling characteristics, good cruising speeds and modern designs. Safety comes first and all our yachts are fully insured for RYA
training and RYA & Coastguard approved.
We operate on the South Devon coastline around the Torbay, Salcombe and Dartmouth areas. We don't sail from marina to marina, we like to sail to perfect tranquil areas and specialise in showing you Devon's most beautiful spots. Daily evening stops in quaint towns & villages tucked away from the madding crowd round off a great day's sailing. Check our Photo Album link for pictures of some

Our RYA approved instructors are hand picked and very experienced with at least 15 years at sea, they offer sailing instruction following a tried and tested structure. We ensure that they are the best available with humanity and a sense of humour built in. We aim to give you an enjoyable holiday whilst gaining valuable knowledge on the way. Make sure you bring a camera, your sense of humour and prepare to have the best experience of scenery and hospitality.
