So what can you do at Goodrington Sands? The first thing that springs to mind is watersports! No strong currents makes this a great place to swim, and there are a number of different hire options available, with pedaloes, paddle boats and even windsurfing for beginners.

If you’re planning to explore the rock pools at low tide, don’t forget to visit the Seashore Centre first. Here you can learn more about the English Riviera’s sea-life and Geopark through interactive displays. After arming yourself with information, you’ll know precisely what you’ve found lurking under the seaweed!

For family fun beyond the beach, there’s a crazy golf course and lots of amusement arcades. Close by is Splashdown @ Quaywest Waterpark, where eight flumes, a swimming pool and a toddler’s play area ensure a fun filled day for all the family. While you’re there, why not check out Ski West? This outdoor watersport activity organisation offers activities such as ringos and waterskiing, a must for adrenaline-junkies!

Access:
Access is easy, level areas throughout. A beach wheel chair is available.

Dogs:
Banned during the summer season on South Sands. Dogs on the promenade must be on leads at all times. Dogs may be exercised on North Sands beach.
