Away from the water, there is still plenty to do with an array of walking routes, cycling paths and spectacular gardens showcasing the fauna and flora that the English Riviera is renowned for.

Places to Go

Not just a seaside resort, days out on the English Riviera can also be filled with trips to the many exciting and fun-packed attractions. Treat the kids to a day out at Paignton Zoo, home to thousands of animals and acres of activities or visit Splashdown@Quaywest for some wet and wild fun. For a more educational expedition there are various attractions to be found, including the Geo Park which displays historical findings including the earliest human remains or discover more about the world's most famous mystery and crime writer, Agatha Christie who grew up in Torquay.
