Travel back in time aboard 'Barnaby', a 1947 vintage bus that will take you on an authentic 'jiggle jerk' ride to Greenway, Agatha Christie's holiday home on the banks of the River Dart. You'll travel along the Agatha Christie Mile in Torquay and through beautiful South Devon lanes accompanied by an informative commentary from the jolly driver. Greenway, now owned by the National Trust, offers an extraordinary glimpse into the private life of the much-loved author and her family.
The classic green charabanc picks up and drops off at Belgrave Road and Cary Parade in Torquay twice daily, Paignton seafront twice daily, and Brixham Park and Ride three times a day.
The bus is operated by Greenway Ferry Pleasure Cruises, who also run boat trips to the property from Torquay, Brixham and Dartmouth.
Both the bus and the boats operate during the opening days of Greenway, from March to October.
Tickets are now on sale at Torquay Visitor Information Centre and at Brixham and Paignton Visitor Centres from the 2nd April.
Booking is strongly advised as this is a very popular trip.
