By Car
From the seafront
Come along the sea front from Torquay town centre to the Livermead House Hotel. The turning is on the right hand side by the hotel, signposted Cockington Country Park. Follow the lane into the village to the junction.
By Bus
The number 12 bus runs approximately every 10 minutes throughout the day. Take the bus to Cockington Lane/Livermead House Hotel. Walk up Cockington Lane and through the Watermeadows on the boardwalk, a 20 minute walk. Unfortunately, the route is not suitable for wheelchairs.
The Cockington bus runs Monday to Friday during March, April and October. Buses run daily from May to September. Catch the bus from the Cockington bus stop opposite the Torbay Hotel, near the Pavilions in Torquay.

By Train
Cockington is accessible by train. Change at Newton Abbot for Torquay station. Cockington is a five minute walk along Hennapyn Road, through the Watermeadows and boardwalk.
