Civil Weddings

Approved Premises for Civil Weddings on the English Riviera

Each property has been individually and carefully inspected and approved as suitable for civil ceremonies. Wherever the civil ceremony is held, it will still be conducted by staff from the local Register Office.

If you decide to get married in an approved location, you should first contact the premises to ensure that the date you want is available. Then you should contact the Superintendent Registrar to check that the required officials are also available. Once a firm arrangement has been made, the Superintendent Registrar will advise you of all the formalities which are required.
